Spawn Commands/File Location

There are 2 ways to spawn creatures through the console.

- cheat summon
- cheat spawndino

You can find the creature folders in your installation folder:
eg. steamapps/common/Dark and Light/DNL/Content/Mods/DarkAndLight/object/Monster

NPC folders can be found here:
eg. steamapps/common/Dark and Light/DNL/Content/Mods/DarkAndLight/object/NPC

This guide will provide a way to use the spawndino command to summon a creature at the level you want.

When using the spawndino command, it requires 5 parameters: filepath, Xcoord, Ycoord, Zcoord, Level
The X,Y,Z coords start from the distance of your character. So 1 1 1 will spawn it right in front of you.
Level will be the level of the creature that is spawned.

Just take the command below and replace the path with the desired creature path and adjust level.

cheat spawndino "Blueprint'/Game/Mods/DarkAndLight/object/Monster/Rabit/Rabit_Character_BP.Rabit_Character_BP'" 1 1 1 120

I am going to see if I can spawn anything from DarkAndLight File in Ark Survival. I will place that file in Arks Mod Folder. I am looking for creature's file compatibility.

In Single player Spawned or Summon NPC's disappear after 1 min while Creatures do not. I have not tried in private server mode yet.

im trying to summon a bargesh but it isnt working, i used the code you posted at the top but put bargesh where rabbit was but it isnt working yet i did the same code with the rabbit but it works

@Darthtanien yes, they've been tested. double check how it looks when you're copy pasting, and make sure you have enabled cheats if you're not doing it in single player.

The easiest way to know if cheats are enabled is to use the command cheat fly, and see if its working.

@Darthtanien the problem may be with windows copy/paste. If you look carefully when it pastes it doesn't paste some of the " and ' If you just add them back in again on the cmd line it should work.
