With a story set in a fictional scenario having gritty plots with a constant dark and serious tone which revolves around a crime investigation makes The Wolf Among Us a unique experience.What appears as an investigation tale in Fabletown becomes more as you keep on investigating and picking up on leads, it all becomes about finding the bigger picture. The story hooks you up right after episode one and as you keep on completing every episode it becomes more and more deep.I would say that personally I dint find episodes 3 and 4 as engaging as others ,still they were fun to play through but some of the parts became a chore to complete but the build up to the finale and the final episode(5) was so good and gave such a perfect ending that all of it became worth it.

The reason because the story hooks you so much is because its so well-written and perfectly paced, yeah there is some predictability here and there but its not too jarring, the execution is so well that even if you predicted somethings still seeing them pan out in the game will not bore you out .For the rest parts I have nothing but praises for it, investigating your case is so engaging because there is always an element of surprise in it, often you find out a new clue to something that connects things to a bigger picture and leaves you with a feeling of 'there is something more going on here' this game perfectly preserves the suspense that it always keeps you indulged in the story.It presents the story in a way that you will never find who was right or wrong till the end and till then you will be only acting on your instincts, you will often face a dilemma to make decisions and put blame on other characters and in execution of conundrums is where The Wolf Among Us shines.

Bigby is a strong protagonist who is trying to leave his past behind but often stumbles into the darkness of it and it's on you, the player, to make choices which can either make him that 'bad' guy again or can develop his character into a better person, the fact that you keep on developing his character throughout the game by choices you make is absolutely an amazing thing to participate in.All the side characters are too amazingly written and while some them can be forgettable but majority of them are interesting and compliment the uniqueness and eloquence of the story.

The art style is truly awesome, I have no other words to describe it, watching Bigby walking on the neon bathed busy streets having a cigarette lit up is just a vibe of its own and it is coupled with an amazing Dark 80s synth music which makes the presentation just perfect.

Seriously if you enjoy playing narrative driven games, you owe yourself to experience the unique tale of The Wolf Among Us. The perfect presentation, beautiful execution and suspenseful narrative makes The Wolf Among Us a must play.
