Are the microtransactions a scummy move? YES
Do they even matter? NO, You can earn most of them in game easily!
Is the performance poor? For me, no. I get a few stutters in the Main City but everywhere else it runs flawlessly. (7600x / 4070Ti / 32GB DDR5).
I think the whole thing has been blown out of proportion. I can see the anger with the MTX in a SP Game and I agree! But DO NOT let that prevent you from experiencing what is a gem of a game (so far). If you ever played DD:DA and loved it, you will surely love DD2 also! Don't just bash the game for the sake of it because it's the current 'thing' to do. Try it for yourself. Don't forget, if you play for <2hrs you can get a full refund anyways so why not give it a chance?
