i bought the game in early access two years ago because I was interested in a thief-like horror/stealth game. But it appears that the devs are now more interested in making dark souls instead.

Good DLC aside from the hellish ash-on-screen effect and cringy pop culture references that make the ones from the original game look like Ernest Hemingway by comparison.

I should have bailed the moment I heard the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ dialogue and voice acting. The bland stock music, ads that say, 'bruh' on them, and all the bad writing and annoying waypoints directly in my face half the time are the cherry on top.

Like if Cruelty Squad was a retro FPS throwback game.
Only complaint is that the bat screeches are too loud and they woke up my mother. (she was in a coma)
