So far this game has been an absolute blast, the environments feel alien due to their surreal nature, and the wildlife that inhabits the world have to be some of the most unique creatures I've seen in a game in a long time. The music, the graphics, the story are all great. My only complaint is that platforming is a bit wonky because the critters you play as are a bit bouncy, and i feel like there could be some platforming improvements, but other than that the game is incredibly interesting. I dont want to spoil too much, but the game features a combination of both wonder and relaxing moments, to terrifying and intense as you watch in horror as the cylinder crushes everything and lights up the sky with fire and lightning. I have not finished the game, but the inventory and item collection and survival systems are unique, there are only a few major biomes, but each ecosystem is incredibly diverse with life and every environment has its own cast of creatures with interesting behaviors. Overall ive enjoyed this game so far, and my only complaints are im regards to platforming.

I have played this game for a long time now, and i feel it is time to finally review this game. This game is a little diamond in the rough and not enough people are playing this little gem. the game is visually meant to look surreal and it manages to feel that way as well. Bugs and glitches practically don't exist, for I have played this game for over a hundred hours, beaten it multiple times, and tried the more challenging mode, and i still have not encountered a single bug. This silly game must have been a passion project, for everything is very polished, and the mechanics are all fully fleshed out, and a variety of events from natural disasters to giant rock monsters, the events happen often enough to keep you alert, but its never becomes chaotic, and the game can be pretty relaxing at times. The game is goofy, but not in terms of poorly implement mechanics and visuals. the game is goofy in the sense that your a bear that knocks down trees with its forehead, can plant a orchard of meet trees, and fights frogs with spatulas walking snakes that laugh at you and aliens that sound like chickens. The game has a surprisingly large amount of content and i still don't know how many items there are since i keep finding new stuff in the caves, and you can even do a mission for salad fingers by David Firth. Overall, this game is a fun little work of art and I have really enjoyed playing it even after the game was finished.

This just got released and the developers have been doing their best to fix every bug in a timely manner. It was released yesterday morning, and by the time I had bought it in the evening, all of the game breaking bugs had been squashed. Its a very stylized survival game with inspiration taken from animal crossing and the like. Despite being PVP, players cannot acsess your tent or home while your gone so their is no way for players to grief or steal from you while your online or offline, unless you have very ♥♥♥♥♥♥ friends who will give away your door code. The game is new and the developers have plans, and everything looks very promising so far. Currently theirs only fishing, gardening, farming, tree chopping, and bird hunting, but it looks like their will be more content added in the near future. Despite the fact that the game is fresh, there is still a handful of content to work with at the moment. Devs please add more paintings and the ability to eat birds or use their feathers for something other than selling.

A game with good atmosphere, a nice amount of content, a surprising amount of horror elements, and all at a good price. Its a good game.
After looking at the reviews of the first Deep Despair, it appears that in this installment, every issue and problem people had with the first game has been fixed, along with improvements to every aspect of the game. Also I like how the deeper you go, the more monster types appear

I played this game on mobile when it first came out, and it has grown. Although the game has micro transactions, it is possible to obtain just about any thing without having to pay any money, and it is possible to beat any crab with any crab. Of course the game has many things that can be bought, HOWEVER I PLAYED THE GAME FOR ONE 1 HOUR AND I ALREADY HAVE A BUNCH OF RARE STUFF. so micro transactions are completely optional. There are no premium items, and every crab can be unlocked by rank up rewards overtime. The in game currency is easy enough to come by, and the introduction of seasons has made the rare currency even easier to obtain.
In all Fairness this game is fun and has alot of content. Ive seen this game from its earliest stage, to the present and to be honest, I think its worth a play. I DID NOTICE THAT A PREVIOUS UPDATE REMOVED THE INGAME STORE AND GACHA BY ACCIDENT, TO MY KNOWLEDGE THIS ISSUE WAS FIXED IMMEDIATELY AFTER IT WAS ADDRESSED.
if you like feed and grow fish and hungry shark, you will enjoy this game.

I have been waiting fro this for over two years, and it was more than worth it. I played the original back in 2019 and have patiently waited. Every thing that I remembered is back and honestly, this was a flawless early access release. With no major gamebreaking bugs, nor any multiplayer issues, this game released as smoothly as possible, with as much content as possible. The game design is very well done, although the game is really complex, it never feels overwhleming because you are only introduced to new things as you go along, and the indepth mechanics are not explained until they are actually important. For instance, the npc guide only appears when you unlock the ability to do something so the mechanics behind certain structures and devices arent explained until they are needed to progression, or when the player gets access to it and can create it. My probelm with npc guides is that they get annoying becasue they eaitehr throw too much, or too little, while this game has teh balance where the npc only informs the player about what is important now, and everything else about it later when it becomes relevant. Any way this review is getting long and i need to sum it up so
10 out of 10, best game of the year, and a good start to 2021.

So game is essentially what would happen if minecraft and terraria, but it is more casual than anything. I see a large amount of bad reviews and honestly I see why. Their is no story nor guided progression. All progress you make is player driven, so someone who is new will have to read the outdated wiki if they want to know what to do. The game i unique because it emphasizes on features that a casual player would enjoy playing to waste time. The only problem is that this game is on PC where we actually play games. On mobile this game works well, but on PC we have higher standards and we want to actually progress and feel rewarded. To top it off quite a few of the games casual mechanics are not executed in the best way either. That all being said this game is NOT BAD, but if you are looking for a game with challenges and world progression then play something else. BUT if you want to play a clam casual game that you can play to waste some time, or if you like pixel art than this game is for you.
Also an important side note, if you like exploration in video games, sorry but the planets on the largest size in this game are smaller than starbound. That means you can walk around the entire in game world in about 10-15 minutes.
