R188
MTA   New York, United States

The R188 is a class of new technology (NTT) New York City Subway cars built by Kawasaki Heavy Industries for the A Division. The fleet entered service in 2013, displacing the 1980s-era R62A cars that operated on the 7 and <7> services, in conjunction with the automation of the IRT Flushing Line's signal system with communications-based train control (CBTC). The R188 order also expanded the 7's fleet as part of the 7 Subway Extension, which opened in 2015.

Of the 506 cars in the fleet, only 126 were built brand-new; the remaining 380 cars were originally part of the R142A fleet that entered service in 2000, before being upgraded to R188s with the installation of CBTC equipment. The fleet first entered passenger service on November 9, 2013, and the final cars were delivered in June 2016.

Hello Profile Travellers,

You may have stumbled upon my profile because I was in your game donating massive amounts of secret saxtons or giving away free items, some of which are valuable. And you may be asking, "Why do you do this?"

To be honest, I don't have a reason. I used to be a big trader back in the day but I cashed out my inventory when life hit me mike tyson style with no gloves. College and having an irl job can often take up lots of time, and the games you used to play when you were a kid become less fun as time goes on. At that point, it feels more like you're required to play rather than something you enjoy. And so, since I don't have a lot of time nowadays, I like to give away free items or do massive secret saxton drops. Sure, I spend money doing it, but seeing players go wild when they see loads of secret saxtons or seeing new players get overwhelmed with joy when they finally become premium is what makes it all worth it.

So if I wasn't in your game, here's a few lessons you can stand to take with you:

1. If you want to get into trading, you gotta have both confidence and negotiating skills. With confidence, other traders can see that you're not afraid of a deal. With negotiating skills, other traders can see that you're determined in making a profit.

You want to make a living on in-game items? Try to sell something that's a little more worth than what it actually is. There's a difference between being reasonable and being a scammer, and you don't want to be the latter. Let's say you have an item that's worth 5 keys. Try to bump that up to at least 6-7 keys. Never forget, any profit is good profit, no matter how small it may be. Find those who want the item you're selling, and pitch a sales line that'll make them feel like your item is indeed worth buying. And if you're buying an item yourself, think to yourself this, "Am I buying this item for myself, or am I buying it for profit?"

Now, trading is not instant. It takes a long time to actually make money off of it, and sometimes you won't be successful in making a profit. But if I had any suggestions, I would say to start trading when you have nothing else going on in your life, or when you're young and the only thing you have to deal with is school. Those are the best times to get into trading.

It can be difficult to trade. You'll come across a lot of obstacles during your process, whether it'd be a scammer, hacker, toxic trader, etc. But always be confident in yourself, and learn something everyday. Be reasonable, and don't be toxic if someone doesn't want your item. We all have the freedom to buy what we like, and we don't have to buy something if we don't want it. Just move on to the next person.

2. Don't turn your games into a job.

The problem with many people nowadays is that they can't decide whether the game they're playing is actually fun or if it's something they have to play, cause it just feels right. This is most common with YouTubers who make content on games, especially TF2tubers. Without variety, games become repetitive and less fun, and feel more like a job.

Don't let it get to that point. If you're bored of a game, turn it off and either play another game or do something else worthwhile. Don't let everyday of your life become the same cycle over and over again, and don't get into money-making adventures on those games unless you are absolutely sure you can handle it. This includes starting your own server, or being a staff member for a game network. Games become less fun when you have responsibility in them. Never forget that.

Enjoy your games as a hobby, and do something new everyday.

I don't usually accept random friend requests, but if you have met me in-game or if I seem like a chill dude, I'll either add you or you can make a comment saying why you want to add me. If you're adding me cause you want to buy my items or you want to sell me something, don't even try cause I don't trade anymore.
