I guess what I'm trying to say is that I wanted to reach out to say thank you for being such a great friend back then. I really hope life's treating you wonderfully and that you've continued conquering both in games and in life! In that case, do the stars align, and this finds us somehow back in the same virtual world, I would be more than happy to hook up again. Until then, take care, and know that you are thought of often and fondly!
Regards,
— Pear, The person who still doesn't know CS map callouts.

Hope this message finds you in good health! It's been ages since we "spoke", and now and then, I do catch myself reminiscing over the epic gaming sessions we had and all the fun we had—well, at least that I had.
And maybe you didn't even know, but that friendship and that kindness really meant the world to me when I was struggling with my confidence and being a mute.
Maybe you didn't even consider me a friend, just some person without a mic to play with. I wouldn't really hold it against you. But you were my no. 1 buddy. Maybe we were really just gaming buds in your eyes, yet even so, meeting you made me realize I'd be missing out on meaningful interactions with fun people like you.
