Real-life bridges are all incredibly mundane, and only through the medium of video games can you be completely nonchalant to the fact that your "bridge" includes janky mechanisms that allow a sports car trapped inside of a solid box to be used as a bridge for a monster truck to drive across, because you're contractually obligated to not build an actual, "realistic" bridge.

Terraria is a visually stunning game that can achieve incredible high points, but these high points only make up about 5% of the gameplay, while the other 95% consists of excessively-RNG-based progression and tedium. For example, the Plantera bossfight in the underground Jungle biome is a lot of fun, but you have to wait about 10 minutes for a Plantera's Bulb to spawn in your world, a random event you have no control over, every time you want to fight it - and this time can stretch out to over 20 minutes if you have poor RNG. I strongly recommend this game, but only to install the TModLoader add-on and use the many amazing mods people have made to turn it from a miserable slog into something worth putting time into.
