A really good game with a pretty decent community (compared to other competetive games like league). You will often get flamed but it's not that bad. You can always mute anyone you deem annoying.

This game will give you the satisfaction that comes with becoming better. It really does feel rewarding. Especially when the game puts you against silvers for some ungodly reason.

If you ever feel like the games are too hard just play one or two unrated matches. It will (for some reason) put you up against newbies and you can relax. Make it a challenge tho. Don't absolutely destroy them because that's not fun for the enemy team. Go pistol only or zeus only. Do something dumb and funny. Keep in mind that unrated doesn't require prime so there will be cheaters from time to time. You can easily deal with the wallhacking kind but the aimbotters will force you to surrender.

Also if you want to have fun you NEED to pay for this game. Playing without prime will be painful. There will just be too many cheaters. Trust me this game is worth it (you can also work up to prime for free, I think)

As of writing this video CS2 is in beta and it's looking super promising so there is bright future ahead. Valve seems to actually care about this game.
