I am very sorry to report that I am not fond of onion rings, either, because the coating never sticks to the onions, which are still raw within. I like onions that have been dehydrated and have a texture similar to corn chips, but not onions that still have moisture. I don't mind using onion powder in the food that I make. But whole raw onions themselves just do not appeal to me.
