Personally, I feel a good condition Husqvarna 55 would suit your needs and not break the bank. They are plentiful. Husqvarna 50 and 51's also. I picked up a 51 in a pawn shop for $40 that needed another $30 in parts to make it 100%. I would venture to say that you could find a good condition 55 in the $175-200 range. Not too heavy and can cut decent size wood for firewood. Best with a 18-20" bar.
