A game I didn't realize existed after playing Blaster Master: Zero on the Switch years ago, but was glad to find out more of it is around.

Nothing crazy, but a build up upon the story of BMZ 1. New traversal mechanics for the tank and a parry system when on foot, BMZ 2 was a fun experience for me. I enjoyed the enemies and bosses, none were ever too difficult, as by the end of the game you have many different ways to avoid damage and punish the opponent.

I enjoyed setting off into space and using the planets as different biomes and content sections. New mechanics made the game fresh enough for a sequel playthrough. I don't really have much negative to say; a short, satisfying experience.

Bought on sale for $5, and finished the game in 9 hours on my Steam deck. An easy recommend for those who played the fist game.
