If circumstances were better, it coulda been way different. That’s why it hurt. We had instant chemistry that ran deep, but distance always has a risk of putting things to bed early. Distance is always my enemy. Three partners and they’re nowhere near me. You coulda been four, my ex five. I get it. Investing in bonds that can only happen online when you have needs that need to be met irl winds up taking a lot of time and energy away from the time we shoulda spent making friends irl. I’m just bitter my best friends & partners I wound up making for half my life are far enough away & not feasible to live with

You’re fantastic. I wish you so much goodness in the world. I don’t blame you for anything that happened. I imagine you were in emotional turmoil & didn’t know how to go about all this. I came to apologize. The hurt is going. We were both put in no-win situations along the way. I have healed enough that I understand & accept this, & want to make sure you know as well. None of this is anyone’s fault. I saw a FetLife post recently that said:

“Sometimes, the spark happens at the wrong time... You can meet someone who sets your blood on fire, and the circumstances just aren't right.”

I still would like to hope something can be revisited however long down the line, but I know it isn’t likely. Neither of us can give the other what we want & need in life, and it makes it painful to even interact with someone for a while
