I am a big fan of lander games, just putting it out there!

Despite my experience with the genre, Blast Lander has been a unique and enjoyable experience. It's a simple but high quality little game that will keep you coming back for more.

Excellent movement and firing mechanics, an engaging progression system, easy to pickup and high skill cap makes Blast Lander a definate 'recommend' from me. Well worth the asking price IMO.

Good work 10Kbit! I'm looking forward to seeing what you produce in the future :)

Hello everyone!

I am trying to review some games that maybe haven't had enough attention and with no reviews in English, I thought Grey Zone was a good candidate.

But after purchasing the game with the intention of giving an informed review, I find it to be unplayable after only 15 minutes. I can no longer 'Start Game', it just crashes to desktop.

What I did get to play of Grey Zone was interesting, and I think there is a much larger game hidden behind the bugs (I hope so given the 300+mb download). At one point the Russian-English translation broke down completely in such a hilarious way that if I can ever get it to work again I will upload a screenshot.

The sound track is cool but you have to keep moving to avoid monotony.

The core game-play in Grey Zone is solid, the controls maybe aren't the best but I found myself getting better at a rate that matched the game's increasingly challenging arena style matches. I feel there could be a little more combat/cutscene in the first 15 minutes, but like I explained that is all I've been able to play.

Unfortunately I am not able to recommend buying this game as it's (at least in my case) still quite broken.
I would love to re-review this title once this issue has been resolved.

As a first release by developer A.Lepunov I feel Grey Zone has promise, But stability and localization are issues that need to be addressed.

On the whole (at the moment considering the problems) 2/10

I will be honest, this game could use some polish, and maybe a new soundtrack, but it has managed to draw me in. It's soo hard! And something about the simplistic gameplay makes me want to keep pushing on to see what those upgrades can really do.

This game is challenging for many reasons, good and bad. On the down-side the controls and movement are not particularly optimized, the level collision is very tight and you are often getting caught and the audio is not really worth having on. But on the positive side Robot King is providing a difficulty that is rarely seen in a 2017 release, and there is real depth in the progression of the player and the challenges. A big part of it for me was learning to manage my repairs and saves.

If you long for the pain-staking progression of the NES era, and you can tolerate the blemishes, Robot King Part 1: Rebooted and Ready will definately be worth a play through since the price Steven Taylor is asking is nothing at all.

This game will not be for most people but remember before you write it off that it was free, and took a great deal of time and effort to make.

At first I didnt know what to make of XXZ, with no explanation and it's minimalistic UI, but I think that mostly comes from my lack of experience with this genre. The first few minutes were a bit confusing untill the basic idea sunk in, and then wow! What a great game.

I love the balance of turn based strategy with the desire (and necessity) to make those blocks disappear in big combos.

Thouroughly enjoyable experience would recommend to anyone. Good work L. Stotch!
