This is up there for not only one of my favorites, but as one of the greatest video games of all time. It hurts me to even write this, but as of June 2024, I cannot recommend TF2 to anyone. I've been playing for a decade as of this March. This game has seen me grow from a lame kid to an adult who still has a burning passion for this medium. From the bots running rampant, to the abundance of hackers that are NOT getting their clients closed, to the overall neglect of the game, TF2 deserves better. The game is virtually unplayable for new players and old players alike. I love this game. If it were in a good and playable state with a developer that cares and isn't profiting off it while bots spread hate speech and links to illegal things, I would recommend this game to everyone, as I once did. But no, it is left in this sad and decaying state. It has a heart, which is the people who play it. Keeping TF2, a founding and everlasting force in internet culture, in this terrible state is not only a disgrace to art, but a disgrace to the nature of man kind.
