This is about, my love for Garry's mod and it's community. This was about the first steam game i ever gotten. This one game, changed my life. I've meet many friends while playing on other source games, or on Roblox, etc. Meeting other players that enjoyed these type of games made me become friends with them. When I was a kid, I used to have social anxiety, there was barley anyone that I've met in real life that likes to play these types of games. Having internet friends gives me peace. While playing source engine games i've seen roleplay's , community's rise and falling, i cried out of joy, i've met friends that i might never meet in real life. All of that is done for the Source community welcoming us. There's many community's in the source community like, Zombie Escape. TTT, Sven Co-Op, Team Fortress Classic, Black Mesa, Hunt Down the Freeman, Open Fortress, Portal reloaded, Portal Story's: Mel, Half-Life C.A.G.E.D, Entropy Zero, Kreedz Climbing, Codename Cure, No More Room In Hell, And many more soruce mods. The Source engine started even inspiring me through my life to become a game dev. Hell, image it's 2004 this game called Half-Life 2, you got it as a gift for your birthday. With the help of Sv_Cheats 1 and looking up on websites to find cheats and codes for Half-Life 2, you can find so many crazy things. That real people work on to build the game. I'm not game dev yet, but i love messing around in Half-Life Source, Garry's Mod and the countless of other source mods built for the public. I've had many dreams on Gm_. Or maybe closing my eyes to see that i'm ina match of Team Fortress 2, Counter Strike getting on top of the score board. Sure these wacky nerdy stuff could have been down on another engine, seeing how people use Garry's Mod for loads of stuff, Xbox conect, and many more.
