Elden Ring was the same.

I'm on the fence if I should get this or not. There are an overwhelming amount of positive reviews, but I could not ignore the negative ones. As comparatively the negative ones seem to have many more hours than those of positive ones with the biggest complaint being the final portion of the game. From what I have read that part of the game is an unpolished, unfinished, buggy mess with the quality of it being vastly degraded in comparison to the other parts of the game. So I'll ask for those who have reached that portion of the game, should I wait till they fix what people are saying is wrong with it?

@DRAGONEIR Since you do not own the game it is a bit embarassing to read your comment. Sure the game does not invent anything extravagant, but it is simply a refined product built on top of a companies previous game (DOS), using one of the most known and acclaimed rpg systems (DnD) in a familiar yet so rich Sword Coast setting, polished after a long phase of early access, and heir to one of, if not the best rpg series of all times. For people that grew up with BG1 & BG2, there are enough references invoked to feel like an actual believable follow up (if you discard ending of ToB).
Tactical combat is not for everyone, it generally involves more planning, luck and thinking and might feel less immersive than action based combat, but build customizations, optimizations and fun are plenty to have for fans of this.
If it's not for you, don't buy it and stick to your battle royale Apex Legends and micro transaction heavy games. Your words might be more considered there.

This is literally an average game with an absolutely shit combat system. Nothing about this game is new. Nothing about it is exciting. Y'all are foaming at the bit for a mediocre game cause all you been playing is trash.

Boy have peoples standards fallen, not making their game as predatory as possible isn't a feature, its the bare minimum.
