Anmeldelse for emne med tidlig adgang
Started off as shining example of how to do early access. Ended up a complete disaster after the developer went off on adventures of making SOTF, console versions and paid expansion while still in early access! No wonder the game is so behind schedule.

@ FateWeaver .... they got sued for stealing a worker still under contract . They knew what they did which is why they settled out of court . Cry me a river , they knew exactly what they were doing . Yet the player base has to give them extra cash because they are too thick to run a business properly .

The reason they even made sold the DLC was because of financial troubles due to a frivolous lawsuit from Trendy Entertainment costing them around 40 million dollars. They were forced into a corner, and those of us who paid attention and support this game understood that this DLC was necessary to save the game. 40 Million is a lot of money for an indie game. And those leeches at Trendy Entertainment wanted 600 million dollars!

We damn Konami for their non-compete clause they had for Hideo Kojima, but an indie studio does the same and we can't even show them a little sympathy when they are forced into this situation, and need the money?

I don't even know what to say, the fact paid DLC takes precedence of a game that's still in EA is a big red flag to me.

Well I think it's because they lost a lawsuit and they needed to make back the money

also right angle im pretty sure that the people who bought the DLC were either misled by the exaggerated trailer(s) (going for both parts of the game) and the fact that some wanted to see if they could escape the broken elements that still haunt ark to this day. After the devs having plenty of time to fix these elements and not taking action and instead adding new delayed content that sometimes further broke the game made people like me get a little annoyed with them, giving further reason to buy the DLC hoping that because it was a pay-for half of the game it wouldnt be as broken. It wasn't but it came close. also in my other comment i put STOF instead of SOTF sorry.

Lord i agree people shouldnt be review bombing the game, at least not about the paid DLC which isnt that bad itself, but if the lawsuit was the reason they released the DLC then they shouldnt be giving away 65k every month or so to a STOF team.

There really needs to be a separate reveiw system for games and their developers so people can review bomb the devs and not the game.

Also, if the lawsuit is the reason for the paid expansion then i would rather pay and get more game so the game stays afloat and acctually sees its realease than watch it go down. I imagine if the game did sink because of that lawsuit and the devs released an appology explaining that they considered releaseing a paid dlc to keep the game going, people would be upset but would be saying that they would pay to see the game comeback. but in this reality people are just butthurt out of what... Principal?
