Hear me out. There was this 4chan post that talked about something like this. Basically, you debeak an octopus alive and have it do the gluck gluck twisty motions and have it consume your seaman. Your seaman, being the only source of food, trains the octopus to constantly seek out your hose. Let’s say your seaman doesn’t have enough nutritional value so you just toss a couple of dead fish there or something after releasing. Octopusses don’t have a warranty but they can last up to 5 years.
