R&C games on PS2 for the most part have standalone plots, and way more forgiving gameplay than J&D (after 1, you can just strafe around the enemies forever and they won't be able to hit you).

From a technical perspective, R&C games have no physics whatsoever, and that is disappointing. Jumping works perfectly fine, but it does not feel satisfying, since Ratchet has no weight nor momentum.

Having said that, if you get the PS2 quard...rulogy in Greatest Hits, you will get some of the best games ever, weak physics aside.
