As someone who has always observed these type of "bullet hell" style games but never taken the plunge - even owning multiple - I can confidently say that HoloCure made me take the final step. Something about the aesthetic and amazing music convinced me to give this game a shot, and boy am I upset that I did, because it has taken over my life.

There are so many characters, skills, enemies, and mix-ups of the aforementioned that you can endlessly develop builds and play the game exactly how you desire. The gacha system is fun and rewarding, the home system is obnoxiously expansive, the music is delectable, the maps are fun and well designed, and the characters are cute and unique even when disregarding the VTuber "status".

I was aware of the existence of VTubers before playing HoloCure, but I could merely name a handful such as "the shark one", and "the detective one", but so much of the game outside of the inclusion of these characters sold me on it that I took the dive and was rewarded greatly for doing so, and the characters very quickly grew on me.

Overall, as a completely free game, I would recommend that anyone give this game a go. There is literally no downside to trying it out.

Simply one of the best game's I have ever had the pleasure of playing. I have completed it all on Playstation however would 100% rebuy it on Steam just to experience it all in a more HD and cinematic environment.
