This DLC costs 20€, you get a map with summer and a winter variant. You also get two factions East- and West Germany, DLC is focused on land combat, so no aircrafts included. There are good and bad things about this dlc, we will get into the details later.

This dlc is really refreshing from Arma3 futuristic / super modern style. It brings us back to the Cold War where everything started. The DLC covers a spot in the mod community, where there are almost no mods that cover West Germany, or at least that I know. So a good start!

What is good: It is wonderful that this dlc comes with winter map and appropriate camouflage for the season, It adds a lot of new vehicles like cars, aps and tanks, thing that brought my interest the most was how much you can go into details with vehicles, for example there's many colors / camouflages to choose from and you can add details like extra radio antenna to command vehicles. The map is greatly detailed and finished, the destruction is fantastic, destroying concrete barriers to help tanks get by is brilliant.

What was bad: There are no aircraft in this dlc as said before, I would have hopped at least for some transport helicopters. Other gripe that i got from playing this dlc was that some of the textures are bad quality, for example the G3 ironsights, where the numbering is blurry. Also some interiors of vehicles are not modelled, so you get the "classic" non movable drivers view. M113 has modelled interior but the portholes are laggy when watching the gorgeus interior (this may get fixed)

TLDR: The DLC doesn't disappoint, but doesn't bring that much into the table. It might leave some users craving for more but still satisfied what they have, I recommend this for buyers who want to new singleplayer campaign and for those players who like the Cold War stuff. It is worth 20€ or regional variant of the price.
