(Playtime is inaccurate because I played on itch.io)

Clam Man 2: Open Mic is an example of a sequel done well. I'll admit this demo often goes in a different direction than the original game, but even when it ignores something that was great about Clam Man 1, it introduces something else just as exciting.

The narrative focus has ditched the wacky mayonnaise company corruption angle but the comedy club storyline complete with boss battles is a unique and exciting change.
Some great and funny characters don't return, but the new ones introduced are equally amazing.
The game is no longer "short and sweet" (it took me longer to finish this demo than the first game) but now we've got the ability to form our relationships with characters throughout the game.

All in all, I really enjoyed this demo! I did encounter a couple bugs, though it's incredible how few there were considering the project has a sole developer, plus he's quick at creating patches. So I can't dock any points for that, it's just a great game and I'm excited to see more.

Total score: 5 out of 5 milks.

Clam Man 1 (there's a sequel in development!) is great.

The star of the show is definitely the humorous dialogue, and it scratched my need for funny in JUST the right way. There's a mix of "smart" humor and "dumb" humor and all of it is fantastic. It also doesn't seem to be written for a "kid" audience or "adult" audience, it's just the creators having fun with their game, so anyone can play it (there's only one expletive in the whole game and it's half-bleeped so parents should be fine playing this game with their kids!)

After that, I suppose there's not much else to talk about. There's nothing special in terms of mechanics or gameplay- it's just a point-and-click adventure. There are only a couple puzzles, which aren't too difficult (and the hardest one has an option to make it somewhat easier). It's two hours long. Ah, there is one thing- I was surprised how tight the story was considering how the game doesn't take itself too seriously and could have gotten away with waving away plot holes if it wanted to.

Basically, it's a fun game worth the low price. And you get to be a (THE) clam man. Go buy it. By the way, there's a duck sitting next to me right now so everything I say is true. OK bye.
