Payday 3 is the culmination of everything Payday does right.

The Heists are astonishing spectacles that really wow the player and keep them 1000% invested throughout. I love the grounded and plausible ideas keeping each one fueled, and Overkill's creativity has really shone through.

The Characters are charming and the same lovable crew we've grown to adore, with the amazing addition of Pearl. Pearl is an awesome addition, with her bad*ss attitude making her a big threat to the opponent. All in all, they feel better than the previous games!

And the Story... wow. I was really excited for the potential story line of this game, and it has NOT disappointed me! Shade is an even more fun version of Bain, and her personality alone is keeping me interested in the plot moving forward.

The Gameplay is the perfect mix between Payday 1 and 2, without all of the absurdly broken and unfun aspects of Payday 2's skill system. No more Stoic/Grinder/Anarchist/Dual-LMG nonsense. This is just simply boots on the ground combat with a really well-designed skill system that actually makes you think for more than a second when playing a heist.

As for the progression, I really feel like the challenge system rewards a player for using different weapons and play-styles in order to level up. You need to actually play the game in a variety of ways in order to progress, so no more one-trick ponies this time!

As much flack as the Online Only servers get, I really think they are a healthy feature of the game. Mixed with crossplay, it boosts the player numbers across all platforms, and ensures that you have a working internet to play the game. Sure the servers may have some hiccups, but they are usually really good about fixing them ASAP and getting you back into the action!

I have faith in Overkill to provide us the best experience possible, and I am really excited to see where the game goes from here! As someone who owns the Gold Edition on a Preorder, I have NOT been let down this time. I am loving every second of it!

Overall, I believe Payday 3 is the best game in the series and I can't wait to watch this game grow!
