Fighterz is one of the few fighting games that I've managed to enjoy, seeing how my background was in SSBM: Melee, and it's done that by offering a rather high skill floor that allows you to feel pretty competent rather quickly with any of the characters that you choose to use. That being said, there's still a good amount of depth in the mix ups, varied assists, and the combos that allow you to have a similarly high skill-ceiling which can still absolutely lead to you getting wrecked online against a player far higher in rank.

My only complaint, and I know this is not shared by hardcore fighting games fans, is that a lot of the higher-tier characters: Broly (Super), Vegeta (Base), Gogeta, GT Goku to an extent, feel moderately unfair in the loops, and ridiculously long-solo character combos that they are able to achieve. I don't think loops should not be in a fighting game, and I know Fighterz has it toned down compared to something like Marvel, but it's still rather unfun to have 20 second-plus long solo combos.
