This game is arcane. It is occult. It is a mystery. These words have several meanings, and they all fit. It asks a lot of the player, and expects the player to ask many questions in turn.

The core gameplay loop at first seems to be about finding the correct combinations of things, but once one realizes how broad a term "things" is and how many different meanings there are to "correct", one understands both the game and the meaning behind it.

It is not for everyone. Before buying, consider if you want to play a game which tells you a story, or this game, where you must build a story out of tiny scraps and fragments with nobody to tell you what the story should look like.

But once you've done that, it's your story. Your History.

A pop culture overdosed roguelike bullet hell. What's not to like?

Interesting concept and beautiful music. The graphics are quite simple, but beautiful in their own way and good enough for a short game like this.

You'll need a patient friend. The patience is necessary both because of the required (mis)communication and the serious bugs that make it hard to start a game. The game is relatively stable once it gets going, though.

I played with a family member on a local network, so I didn't get the 'experience' of setting up a third-party program to emulate it.

I wouldn't pay for a game this buggy and unpolished even for its good points, but since it's free, it's worth playing through once or twice.
