So in the n64 version once you get the ice arrows you can basically just use them wherever you want in any body of water if it was big enough. When you shot them it would create a platform of ice which made for some very good and clever puzzles like one in the water temple where you had to find a way to the platform above you so you look around a bit and realise there's a patch where you can hookshot to on the ceiling so you have to ice platform your way over there while avoiding projectiles shot by octoroks which you can also freeze and use as platforms but you have to be quick as the ice doesn't last very long which makes for a fun puzzle BUT THEN IN THE NEW ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 3DS VERSION THE GAME DEVELOPERS WERE LIKR HOW ABOUT WE TAKE A GOOD FUN MECHANIC LIKE THE ICE ARROWS AND MAKE IT SO THAT IT THINKS YOUR A ♥♥♥♥♥♥ WITH THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ BRAIN CAPACITY OF A ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GOLDFISH INSTEAD OF JUST LETTING YOU FIGURE THIS OUT FOR YOURSELF LIKE AN
