This game is one of the most soulful and conceptually interesting games I have played in the last few years. It has some very obvious problems and bugs, but there ingame tools to fix most issues like party members stuck in objects or terrain. Looking forward to the sequel.

Great, but somewhat short game for what it's worth. Fantastic music and visuals. Deserves a sequel/prequel.

While I suppose DS2 is worse than DS1 and D's S in a few ways (*cough* soul memory *cough*), it is still a great game and shouldn't be ignored solely for these reasons. Also for best results, pick the deprived class at the start of the game. Deprived gets a super secret weapon at the end of the tutorial, but the game doesn't tell you this in the class selection screen. Also kill the Emerald Herald the second you see her. She will try to kill you after you fight the second boss.
