It's unbelievable a game of this quality is free. Kinda reminds me of some of the elaborate free flash games that used to be everywhere. Also sorta reminds me of journey, but with even cooler things done with the music and sound design. Absolutely blew me away, can't recommend enough.

Also, I wish the i could just replay the running section over and over, it was too short ._.

This is the first review ive written in years of being on steam, but this game is so low-key and so amazing that i just had to write one. So i was a backer on kickstarter for this game, and the premise alone sold me on this gem of a game.

It's a fascinating experience getting to grips with an entire alien ecosystem, and your human copilot/partner. Especially since most of the time, you don't actually know what your human looks like, or any of the new alien species you're cataloguing, But seeing this little yellow dot zip around, and knowing that it's some sort of animal is... enchanting somehow. As the description says, the UI is great but it doesnt mention the soundtrack is perfect too, it has the right combination of awe and melancholy loneliness. But if you're worried its entirely slow chill, there's quite a few intense moments too.

Overall there's just this amazing blend of wonder, isolation, ominous foreboding, and occasionally admiring some cute alien life. Highly recommend, truly a beautiful game.
