Even in an incredibly buggy state this game had me addicted for a week straight. I wanted to do nothing else. It takes the best parts of ark and pokemon and drops the dead weight that hold both franchises back. Actually getting to use your pals in more ways then combat, base building that is forgiving and simple, seamless coop with friends, and approachable bosses/exploration/breeding. This game scratches an itch that people have been looking for ever since the first pokemon game. True freedom to catch mons and make your own way in the world. If they fix a few bugs it will go down as one of the greatest of all time even before new content is added.

I've never followed through on a dark souls game to the very end. Their slow clunky combat never made me wanna keep going. I kept going to say I beat a boss and no more. This game is fun as hell every attempt. I never rage quit; I stop to rest my hands after flying around the screen shooting, parrying, and slashing at the enemy before me. No stamina holding you down, just pure reaction time and spacial awareness. 10/10

Start the run a meager explorer, end the run jumping across a level and then teleporting 20 times to reach a chest you almost missed before the teleporter shoots you into the next hellscape of monsters and intense combat. The launch of the game, a diverse cast of characters with unique powers, and the introduction of a true final boss has put the icing on this ice cream cake of a roguelite. Grab a slice before it melts.

You'll trick your friends into having their gear melted by slimes. It's just how the games played. Seriously can't wait to get on every night the boys show up. Lots of things to unlock and maps to travel across. Loot for days!
