Incredibly relaxing game with a little bit of fear in the form of crocodiles :P For sure this game is a time sink but if that's what you're after then jump on in! I have one recommendation when you play and that is to decide what you like most early on. Do you enjoy farming, hunting or mining most because the way the game works you need to spend a currency you gain often early on to buy "licenses" to unlock the newer stuff and the prices get higher and higher through the license ranks. I went in for mining mostly but did a bit of everything else too but that is starting to slow SOME things for me but not enough to make me stop playing.
Currently the game is "multiplayer" but in the sense that someone else can help you progress your own farm, there is no joint progression. (You can have multiple save files though so easy way around is to have a seperate one for you to play SPECIFICALLY with friends or partners. Feels more or less like normal co-op)

The game can be pretty grindy so I don't recommend playing the game solo cos you will lose your mind chopping down a thousand trees alone. Very rewarding when exploring the world (which is HUGE). Game opens up ALOT crafting wise once you have unlocked bronze equipment. Before that point the game is pretty simple and easy to learn and play.

Amazing game. Graphics are top notch and the story is immersive and impactful. The game is very difficult to get the hang of as you get punished for any mistakes or delayed decisions BUT this adds to the overall involvement in what you're doing. After getting a feel for it the game still stays challenging, especially with the higher difficulties, but is less stressful.
