The game has been released in a terrible state. Performance, gameplay, its all very lacking. Everything that was good about TW:W2 was not implemented, and instead the worst parts are. I was thankfully one of few that didn't suffer from the performance issues or crashes. My game ran near flawless apart from some framerate issues during large battles, but those are to be expected.

The actual WH3 campaign was somehow made even worse than the Vortex campaign in the previous game. How the f did you manage that?!

Played and finished a Very hard/Very hard Cathay campaign and have absolutely ZERO desire to do another campaign. Currently waiting for Mortal empires and bugfixes.

The minor settlement sieges feel incredibly repetitive. The buildable towers have ridicolous range and are way too easy to spam. Even some trivial battles will cause significant casualties SOLELY due to the towers existing and the way AI can 'abuse' them, aka skip the cooldown to rebuild if it is destroyed.

This in combination with the terrible casualty replenishment makes for really tedious, uninteresting gameplay. The player gets too affected by the low replenishment while the AI wont care, since they will just disband/merge units and recruit new ones globally. The player can't really rely on that due to funds. And who finds it exciting or even remotely enjoyable to spend 5 turns having to globally recruit a tier 5 unit? Yeah, you're right, nobody does. Get a grip.

It made campaigns slow, tedious and encourages you to afk in cities for multiple turns instead of seizing initative. It just managed to turn all the excitement into a dreadful slog.

I wish we had more "regular" battles again and less minor sieges (keep them for tier3 settlements and let tier 1 and 2 just be regular battles, please?).

Technologies in WH3 are gutted to the point where they are nigh completely useless. I would guess that this is to hinder the player from being able to powercreep too much, and make them reach critical mass alot slower. But c'mon, you could easily go through 80+ turns and still not have found anything even remotely exciting in the tech tree.

Traits got buffed late in WH2, which the community loved. Alot of traits that did almost nothing were made to be atleast average or above. This has now been reverted in WH3, so we're back to having close to useless traits on Lords and Heroes. Thanks?

Whoever designs Lord defeat traits.. Can we please put some effort into it?

Wait a year or so until they've sorted their ♥♥♥♥ out. Half-assed, unpolished, lazy excuse of a game. I was so excited for this game, but playing it left me only feeling dissapointment.

Playing warhammer 3 just made me want to reinstall warhammer 2. And saying that just feels so wrong. This is the last game in the trilogy for christ sake, it should be a beacon of hope for all that is to come, not the reeking pillar of despair and dissapointment that it currently is.

Anyway, I am sure they will fix it all eventually. COPIUM
