The game is lacking in pretty much every regard. Poor performance paved over with bad frame generation tech, lazy gacha crafting instead of even the most barebones solution of porting over Vermintide 2's middling at best crafting, little to no meaningful progress, limited build variety at best, an economy that makes Tencent's stake in Fatshark apparent, and of course a premium store with ludicrously expensive premium currency. It's even sold in chunks that you can't use all of in order to spur you to buy more like a bad mobile game. This is to mention nothing of incredibly poor community management and PR, such as the numerous times a CM has openly derided people bringing up launch and post-launch failures, the abject failure to maintain a reasonable content or update schedule or to even communicate any such schedule externally, and the absolute gall to reward late adopters for buying the game while leaving early adopters in the lurch in the form of shoveling tens of thousands of aquilas to Xbox purchasers at Xbox launch while giving PC special edition owners too few aquilas to even purchase a properly premium cosmetic set. An absolute resounding slap in the face.

Everything I wanted when this was announced in my absolute wildest dreams and so, so much more. One of the single greatest co-op games of all time. Devs are incredibly communicative and active with fixes and new content despite how immensely the game overperformed on release. When I say that every issue this game has had, and any issue it could have in future, are worth every second I've gotten to play of this game.
