Simply put, it's a good game. If you have a tendency to do everything, it can feel slow at times, particularly near the beginning and end, but the inclusion of turbo mode helps immensely. At least half the main cast is interesting, the story is complelling, and the twists are twisty.

Oh, and of course, the combat is fun. All the way through. And difficult. I played on hard and had about 5 encounters that gave me trouble. Two of them took me almost an hour to beat. The game is nice and allows you to retry, too, so you don't have to sit through cinematics every time you lose.

It's a well made game well worth the price. I'm excited for the second. And the third. And the fourth, though it maybe be ages before loser Americans get our hands on it.
