I bought this game in 2012, and I finally beat it. It's just really bad and boring. The open world environment is interesting enough, but the combat is simplistic and the lock-on is very finicky. The main problem with the game is that it doesn't sprinkle references here and there, but instead relies entirely on them. Every single mission and thing in the game relies on references, and just fail to be memorable on its own merits.
