Early Access Review
The game does not do itself justice yet. It feels like it does not know what it wants to be.
To claim it is a roleplaying game feels a little forced. You can imagine you are playing a character, but it does not translate into actual gameplay.

It is missing the usual UX elements so that you do not see who you have visited, who gives you a quest, what a vender generally sells etc. You even do not have any quest log: the game explicitly forces you to write them down yourselves. It may sound cool. But does it add to the overall explorative/meditative feeling? Tedious tracking of your progress?

To me, this game tries to be everything and ends up being nothing in particular. It just does not work together. It is not a fulfilling game since the pace is tedious, and player choices and requirements are not clear. It is not an explorative experience rewarding you for curiosity and entangling you with a mesmerizing story. It is something in between. There are a lot of world-building pieces and a bunch of mechanics that do not give you enough agency.

It might become a great game. The basics are there. But there is still a long way requiring a major shift in focus before it will be an enjoyable explorative game.

I know how hard it is to create a good game and I want to say out loud that this game made many things fine, but there is also plenty of bad things.
I especially like the idea of merging and developing the game mechanics together with other aspects of the game (here only with music). It is my ideal approach to game design. You should play this game to see it.
On the other hand game isn´t fun. It is confusing in parts: beautiful paintings doesn´t show you your way through in some places. Although it is kind of easy it fails to learn you something about the environment: like that beautiful yellow crystals are bad. They looks like purple/pink one but these will kill you. I had it on my mind, but I thought: don´t be paranoid, just try it. New (and evil) things should be introduced more "spectacularly".
Simply: play it to see new approach to game design.

I tried to like this game, because it is beautiful, but it was really buggy and somehow without drive and enjoyment.

It was fun at first. But after a few hours I have found that it is just annoying. This game isn´t fun, because you fight against castles that are composed by players. And these players have just one goal: kill you. Because they have "score" from it. This means that there are tons of castles that are totally empty and with only one "over-defensed" room. This means there is plenty of summoners who heal the units or create skeletons. If you do not manage to kill them as soon as possible, it is practically unplayable. No fun at all. Simply imagine Torchlight or Diablo or any action RPG totally empty 75% of the playtime. And when you come to the last room of the game, there is one big fight. And that´s it. Boring, isn´t it?

It would be way much better to have "score" from players rating the castles. From how much fun they have. Or may be put some limits on the number of creatures (defence points) per room. Game is possible only if there are rules. This isn´t game, because important rules are missing. It is just wasted time.

Seriously, do not play it.
