Remember the old days when your favorite Paradox games new DLC came out ..... and you were happy? Those days are gone. Really hope another company comes out and takes away the monopoly Paradox has on this type of game.

Got the game is 2013. Devs updated the game every now and then, then just left for like 6 years without any word. All of a sudden they relaunched it on Steam, with a minor update. Now they are silent again. This was just a cash grab, well played.

Buggy , laggy mess. Very disappointed in TaleWorlds for this. Cant believe they approved this. I guess now that they are getting bigger they stopped caring about quality and community. I should have done my research first, so mainly my fault. If I knew this was made by those Brytwhatever guys, I wouldnt have bought it. Same guys who refuse to add "minority" skins because they arent "historically accurate." Guess what, its a game, that all nationalities play, get over it.

Backed this game for 50 bucks on Kickstarter. Almost 3 years later its still a horrible game. The shipbuilder was pretty nice. But thats pretty much the only enjoyable part of the game. Also runs pretty choppy on high end PC's. Cant believe they actually released this as a finished product, but I guess they just gave up and got tired of working on it. Also massively overpriced. You can get X3: Albion Prelude, a very superior game for 10 bucks. Had a lot of hope for this game, just another Kickstarter let down. (Nov. 22, 2014)

Another great game from Paradox.

I dont know, the devs are starting to scare me. They are becoming very unresponsive. They promised an update in August but how can you do that while you are on vacation? http://www.snowbirdgames.com/forum/index.php?threads/news-please.3473/ I loved the idea of this game, but as it is going now, seems it might go the way of that fail game Castle Story. When devs stop communicating, thats never a good sign. It is a fun game, but an very unfinished one and nothing like I would imagine the final product would be if it gets finished. At this point it just feels like a failed M&B Warband mob. Buyer beware.

Please save your money. This is the worst "X" game ever and there is no saving it no matter how many fail updates they do to it. If you played the old "X" games and havent tried this yet, please skip it. It will destroy any hope of these guys making another good "X" game.

Excellent game. Came out a long time ago, but I still play it like everyday. This and Warband and infinite replayability.

Very very very slow development in the time since its Kickstarter. So many bugs, and they keep adding up every update. Updates are supposed to fix things, not make them worst. I bought this around August 2012, not even joking when I say the two biggest things added since then where a new UI and a very silly game mode. They have their money, and are just doing small stuff to try to make it look like they are actually doing something. Before you buy this crap really do your research. And on top of that their forum moderators are very biased and try to "silence" people whenever they can, especially the one called Box. So before you even think of buying this google the kickstarter page and see how much progress they have done in all of this time, then go to their youtube channel and watch that one epic trailer they made and compare that to actual gameplay now, its not nearly as epic. There are better games out there you can spend your money on, dont waste your time on this travesty. And for you "this is early access" people, this was out way before Steams early access. Them adding it to Steam was just a shameless money grab to try to get more money, which Im still curious where it has gone to. I cant see the results game wise.
