Extremely frustrating difficulty level. There either needs to be an option for difficulty setting or the difficulty needs to scale better. 9/10 you'll find yourself outmatched from the start and your only hope is to run, get some pop shots, run and repeat. I have yet to make it out of the first map area after trying almost 10 times. I saw other people report on this, but those were early access reviews so I had hoped it had been fixed. It clearly has not. I would probably recommend this game if it weren't for this insane difficulty.


EDIT: The developers listened to the community and have made the game easier. So far I have only played just over halfway through 1 run, but it has definitely been a more enjoyable experience. I look forward to playing this game further and trying out different fleet combinations and ship abilities. Also, I now recommend this game rather than turn it down.

This is a great game. Cool strategy to it and nice upgrade system. HIghly recommend.

Super fun castle building/destroying game. Great campaign and fun leveling system. Excellent variety of in-game spells, units, and projectiles.

Awesome game! I absolutely love this game! I rly want an xpac or FTL2. So easy to pick up and play, and so fun.
