This is a slow-paced, methodical, tactical shooter experience that rewards you when you use your brain more than your trigger finger.

The difficulty is punishing on higher levels and yes, the AI needs a lot of work. But, the devs are working on that for the next major update according to the roadmap. Even so, whenever I get popped I always feel like it was MY fault. There was a corner I didn’t clear or an angle I didn’t watch closely enough. The game is hard but fair.

The experience is truly best with a small group of friends who understand that the best tool you have in this game is communication. When you have that kind of a group, Ground Branch shines.

If you don’t have a group, I might recommend passing until the AI teammates get implemented. But if you have a crew to run with, stop reading and go buy this game!
