Lacks true mouse and keyboard support. The game defaults to controller every time you launch, regardless of saved settings. In addition, there are a limited number of keybinds that allowed, which are simple one-to-one substitutions for controller buttons. Which severely restricts the ability to modify the keybinds to your liking. If you want to play this game, just get it on console. By all accounts it is a good game with a poor PC port.

Early Access Review
This game is like you made some sort of fantastic drug out of pure uncut scandanavian pine sawdust, then served it on a plate fashioned from a CD of Minecraft.

Fairly solid. The replay's a little less than some of the others, but it's worth at least a single-playthrough for the story and side missions.

In short, great missions/story.... mediocre level design and relative lack of mob diversity.

Still worth it.

A lot of the new content's moderately fun. More of the same, but if ya like BL3, that's enough.

But the flagship game mode Arms Race? Miserable. It's tedious, arbitrary, and badly balanced. Especially for single-player. If you decide the new guns are worth the price, buy the DLC but ignore the Arms Race part. It'll just butcher your desire to play the game.

Pros:
-Added ways to get shiny loot; Grinder lets you craft, and vending machines now have useful items on a regular basis.
-Less asinine scaling than BL2; no longer are defensive stats and half the skilltrees utterly useless by end-game.
-Characters have their own dialogue responses to missions and NPCs; makes each character's playthrough just different enough to be interesting.
-EXPLOSIONS! KICK-*** GUITAR SOLO FROM MR. TORGUE.
-THE GUITAR SOLO HAS AN ACTUAL F**KING GUITAR THIS TIME! IT'S F**KING AWSOME!
-Lasers; another weapon type to add some variety.
-Addition of Oz-kits; buttslamming adds far more depth to the gameplay than relic stat-sticks ever did.
-More well-thought out skilltrees; very few bunk skills and fewer mandatory skills, giving greater build diversity.
-More Handsome Jack; he's awesome and he'll tell you all about it.
-You can play as Claptrap; what's not to love?

Cons:
-Item balance is a little off; some items are glitched, or just flat-out overpowered.
-Lack of DLC; Makes the game feel shorter than the completed BL1 and BL2.
-Many story bosses do not respawn; boss runs are limited at end-game.
-No ability to reset story; making high-level versions of some useful and fun quest rewards impossible to attain.
-You can play as Claptrap; stupid piece of s**t.

Overall, a great game with good promise. Combat gameplay feels smoother and has enough new and entertaining features to be a noticable improvement to the franchise. Even without DLC, there's enough here to have a good number of hours of fun play before things get old.
