Wow! I really, really enjoyed my time with this game! It isn't overly difficult (although some of the cats are really tiny and I had a hard time seeing them), and the music is catchy. I liked the various arcades, and it gave me feeling of nostalgia from my trips to arcades in the past. I remember playing many of those games (without the changes by the cats, of course ;) ). I gladly bought the DLC, which isn't very expensive and goes towards a good cause!

I highly recommend this game (and the DLC)!! :)

I enjoyed it for what it was. Very short and easy.

I am mainly doing this for the awards badge.

A very fun game, with new content added periodically.

Not a fan of the Hunt mechanic, however.

I don't make very many reviews, so I try to save them for games that I really enjoyed. Little Misfortune is one of those games. The art style is quite unique, and it changes depending on whether you are seeing Misfortune's regular world, the cutscenes, or through her imagination. And she has quite the imagination, which is to be expected from an eight year old.

I found this game to have nice music, interesting locales, and quite a bit of heart. I had an emotional reaction to this game, particularly at certain parts of the game.

It isn't an overly long game. I finished it at almost the 5 hour mark, but I took my time and didn't rush through. I also need to collect the remaining Achievements. The Achievements, if you are into them, are pretty easy to get, and some of them are funny.

I highly recommend this game. :):)

I really hope for a sequel.

This is along the same vein as the 12 Labours of Hercules series, and I enjoyed it very much. It was fairly easy to get 100% Achievements, something that is not that easy in the 12 Labours series anymore with the addition of having to beat the Dev's records in every level!

It was quirky, and the art style was nice. There were some interesting mistakes in the level descriptions since it looks like english was not their native language. For example, in two or three levels the description of the level was cut off abruptly. There were also typos here and there, but it didn't detract from my experience.

I also loved the animations that Alicia and her friends make when they complete each level. They sort of do a dance to the music. I liked it!:hercules_is_happy:

All in all, I highly recommend this game. If you like time-management games, you can't go wrong with this one!

I just completed Submerged a couple of minutes ago, and I can honestly say that I enjoyed every moment I played the game. Even though I had missed a secret (due to my blindness), I didn't mind trying to find it.

The graphics are extremely beautiful, and the effects are amazing. The water looks and moves realisticly, and it is neat to ride the wake from a nearby whale that has jumped from the water. The trees swaying in the wind, the flowers moving back and forth, the butterflies flitting from place to place. All highly realistic, and a joy to look at.

There are also really good weather effects, such as rain, thunder/lightning, and fog. The sunlight and moonlight glisten off the water almost magically, as if they had a secret to tell, but couldn't.

Discovering the various landmarks and other unique buildings and signs added to the mystique. This takes place on Earth, but is it our Earth in the future or an Earth from an alternate universe. There is enough to make it familiar, yet alien at the same time.

I have grown quite fond of Miku, and would love to have more adventures with both her and her brother, Taku.

I did not suffer one crash or any graphical glitches, and it ran smooth as silk even with all the settings at max. You can use mouse/keyboard, but I used a controller and I am glad that I did. It makes use of the rumble feature (you can turn this on or off in Options), and controlling the boat was quite easy to do.

This game has absolutely NO combat in it whatsover, nor are you racing against a timer to prevent failure. You can explore at your leisure, and you don't have to worry about doing things out of order. You can explore any of the climbable locations in any order, no matter how close or far. I like having that freedom, and not being boxed in to "go here first".

I cannot recommend this game enough. An absolute joy, and I would purchase a sequel (if they ever make one) in a heartbeat.

ETA: With the current sale going on, the 90% discount makes this game a steal! Hopefully more people will try out this game and fall in love with it like I did. :)

Early Access Review:

I was given a key by the developer to play the game and to give an honest review about the game, good or bad. And review it I shall.

I enjoyed the game, although it is a tad short. You can only play as one character at the start, although you can unlock three other character through uncovering secrets in the game. The starting character has his sword and a hookshot, although I rarely used it (it is used to latch onto something to move you) but no other equipment.

I was able to unlock Sprout, but I do not know what she is like to play, although her description said that she can plant bombs.

There is a definite Zelda-esque feel to the game, particularly with the background graphics and the monsters themselves. The graphics also remind me a little bit of Paper Mario with regards to the characters and background. I don't know if the graphics will change with the full release, but I enjoyed them nonetheless. The graphics are not jaw-dropping nor are they bad by any stretch of the imagination.

Combat is relatively straightforward, and there are not a lot of options when fighting. You basically swing your sword and dash (an ability to rush forward while gaining a very small window of invulnerability. Some monsters are harder to fight than others, and require a little thinking on how to defeat them.

I found combat to be a lot easier when I found the item Mother P'kah. Basically, it flies around and if a monster runs into it, it will either die or be quite wounded. This was quite useful against certain tough opponents, particularly bosses. One boss, Cryos, I found to be a tad difficult with it due to its speed and the fact that I am using mouse and keyboard.

As mentioned above, the game is relatively short, and there are only 6 worlds so far. The levels for each world are random, and the worlds get larger as the game goes along. Each world has different kinds of foes to fight, and they each have a theme. World 1 is forest, World 2 is snow, etc. It gives the game a different feel each level, which is nice. Also, there is different music playing each world, and I feel like I am playing an NES game when I hear it. I like the music for games of the NES era, so the music is a good thing.

I did experience two or three crashes, but they were never during gameplay. Twice it happened after I died, and it went to the Stats page. When I clicked on 'Back', it crashed. I also got the same crash when I exited the game once. Considering how I died numerous, numerous times, the amount of crashes I had is negligible.

In all my playthroughs, I never experienced any bugs, so it looks to be pretty stable for being in Early Access.

I do enjoy this game, and I am glad that I played it. I am also looking forward to trying out the full version when it is released. I should also mention that this game has Achievements (a few are hidden, but I've found some of them), as well as Steam Cards. That is an added bonus as well. I like games that have Achievements, and it is fun trying to get all of them.

My final verdict is that while the game is fairly short, and feels a bit sparse at parts, it is a fun game and well worth playing.

It's hard to put words down without inadvertantly giving away spoilers. I'll try my best, however.

While this is a short game, it is certainly not a bad game. In fact, I enjoyed it quite a bit. The colours almost seem to bleed out in this game, particularly in the outdoors area. In my eyes, that is intentional and you will understand why as you get further into the game.

Little creepy touches add a nice feeling to the game. Reading the descriptions that Autumn says when clicking on items can shed a lot of light on what is really going on.

One thing did annoy me a little, and that was the fact that I had to drop the flashlight to pick up a different item. Depending on how far the location is that you need to use the other item, you can find yourself stuck in the dark for a bit. That certainly was not enough to dampen my enjoyment of the game.

This is a game that will make you think at the end of it, and may induce you to play it again just to see how differently you see things at the beginning, and how they tie into the end.

I highly recommend this game as it is a lot of fun and does make you think about it after you have reached the end.

Although I have only played for a little bit, I find myself quite enjoying this game.

Feste is one of my favourite characters that I have seen. He says what I think everyone in his place would say. Where the heck do you start, and why me? I was enjoying my *yawn* nap, after all! I don't want to play any more today...what? Oh, all right. Stop pushing me!

It certainly isn't a difficult game, and I am already done 5 Chapters (of 16) even though I haven't played overly long. Therefore, I don't think the game is that long. That being said, I don't actually care. I am enjoying the game, and I would honestly purchase and play another game with Feste as the "hero".

The graphics are quite good for what the game is, and the characters (although I've only seen Feste and Noah so far) are quite funny. I like that the voices aren't in english, as it gives an other-worldly feel to the game for me.

I would recommend this game, without hesitation. At it's full price, it is still worth it in value. If you enjoy the game, does it matter if the journey was long or short?

This is my first review, so I hope I covered all the bases and didn't fall on my face while doing it.
