The first new SaGa game in 8 years, and it's fantastic. It's a mixture of SaGa Frontier and Scarlet Grace both tonally and mechanically. Addictive gameplay, tons of choice and consequence, replayability, and maybe the best JRPG combat system ever made. If you're a SaGa fan, you'll find something to love here if you give the game enough time. It had me sold as a longtime fan of the series within the first 1-2 hours.
