A great strategy game, reminding me a lot of the classic Commandos series. The maps are excellent, allowing for lots of different approaches depending on which team members you pick, and are challenging but not unreasonably so. The ability to pause and plan (plus the excellent 30 second save point cycle) makes it easy to think and experiment, and I would expect a second play-through to be fun, with a different set of characters.

I only have a few minor criticisms. There are a few timed levels, which was the one time I found that a level attempt would have to be completely scrapped to start again. This is also rather frustrating if you are a completist and want to collect all of the optional loot. In a related vein, I tried to play each level without buying any extra gear - which you can do - except that the safes containing loot were then often unlockable (at least before the safe skill is unlocked). I also tended to use the same four characters every time, as some seemed clearly more useful than others, but that is probably my own failing.

Definitely worth buying if you like planning and puzzles.
