I played all the latest X-com games and DLCs, and I had lots of fun playing Chimera Squad.

The new combat rotation alternating ally and enemies is brilliant. It makes the game way more fluid and a bit like a puzzle because you can counter the next enemies in the queue using diff. abilities and items.

This is different than previous Xc-om games where you had to go all in with your 4-6 soldiers, or you advance a little too far and you get attacked from all enemies all in one go.

The breach system is fun too you can plan and attack which enemies you want to eliminate first, and even select at which order your agents will play in each breach point.

I went straight for expert difficulty, half-health recovery in between breaches.
This was a perfect fit because of all the new little things to learn.

After finishing it, did it at impossible difficulty, and 0 health recovery in between breaches.
I felt this difficulty was not hard enough, mostly breezed through (most) encounters using all the little tricks and abilities to let the enemies have as little time to attack as possible.

I think for the price this was well worth it, and I hope they bring the combat queue / rotation system for future xcom games.
