The game is pretty similar to the film "Cube", where a group of people are in a room and under, above, before, behind and besides them are other rooms, all separated by a door. In some of the rooms are traps, to check a room for a trap you have to throw one of your shoes in the room. As the shoe is lost once you've thrown it in a room with a trap you can only check two rooms with traps (you have only two shoes), if there are still other traps you have to find another way to check them.

The menu is a bit confusing, for example you can adjust the mouse sensitivity not under controls but under "General", where you can also change the language (currently is only english availabe).

In Singleplayer you play - surprise, surprise - alone, you also have only two shoes to check traps with.

In Multiplayer you can play as a team - with this you can stay all together or spread out, but if you do so you'll get lost for sure so better stay together ;-)

On difficulty hard are more traps than on easy but it's not like a trap coming suddenly killing you, you just need a bit more time to go through the rooms that's all.

The game is currently Early Access, you can also see this on some points, but right now it's still worth a try.

Das Spiel mag zwar noch in der Early-Access-Phase sein, jedoch heißt Early-Access, dass das Spiel „noch in der Entwicklungsphase“ ist. Bei Entwicklungsphase denkt man jetzt vielleicht, dass an dem Spiel eifrig weitergearbeitet und es stetig verbessert wird. Nun, bei AXYOS ist das anders:
Ganze 4 Monate ist es nun schon her, als ich das Spiel zum ersten Mal spielte. Damals dachte ich noch, naja… Early-Access halt, wird sicherlich noch besser. Tja, falsch gedacht. In diesen 4 Monaten hat sich leider rein gar nichts getan:

• Es gibt immer noch nur ganze 3(!) Maps
  
• Man trifft wenn es gut läuft 2-3 richtige Online-Spieler, meist spielt man jedoch nur mit Bots
  
• An der Grafik hat sich seitdem nichts getan, grafische Fehler sind noch genau da wo sie vor 4 Monaten schon waren (oder vielleicht soll das so sein!?)

Besser geworden ist das Spiel also eher nicht, auch eine Namensänderung von ehemals „RIP (Alpha)“ zu „AXYOS“ hat dem Spiel nicht geholfen; wobei RIP eigentlich besser gepasst hätte…

Alles in allem spreche ich hier definitiv keine Kaufempfehlung aus!
