I really like Potionomics.
The game is much harder to start than it is to continue once you have a good engine going, so I would say - don't be discouraged if your first time playing it seems impossible.
I restarted after a few in game days and now I'm several hours in, I've completed 3 of the competitions so far, have just started my fourth and am already brewing a potion for the next competition that will exceed expectations on the first day. If you build a good system at the start, the game will get easier as you go on. It is challenging but also rewarding.
That said, I don't disagree with people asking for an endless mode or something that will allow more time to get to know the characters without having to restart the game. There is not enough time to increase everyone's relationship, and while I get that being able to do so would make your deck OP - some of us are interested in the narratives too! It is sad to have to sacrifice story for the sake of that system and I really feel like it could be rebalanced to allow a more complete experience.

This game is MORE than worth the cost. It's a narrative driven cosy game with elements of farming, magic and relationships. Best of all, it does not feel like a Stardew Valley clone and instead has its own personality, pace and feel. When I'm not playing it, I'm thinking about it.
The voice acting is incredible, the diversity is beautiful and the entire experience is incredibly charming. You have to try it out for yourself!

All this needed was A BIT of direction and purpose. Just a starting clip like "I need to find out what happened and let them know what he did", somethinggg, anythinggg to tell me who I was and what I was doing. It felt like I was aimlessly pouring over footage and the more time I wasted, it told me time was passing, but not why that mattered - and it doesn't get made much clearer other than "you stole this hard drive and you have limited time with it". Why did I steal it? Why do I bother with what I do at the end?
You were just looking for footage of.. something. For some reason, and the "why" never is explained. It seems like a rushed after thought.

It's sad because I feel like the rest of the story deserved better. The acting is phenomenal, the characters are great - but why am I doing this? Unclear.

Super fun at first, easy to binge but it does get extremely repetitive with not as much variety in products and furniture as I'd like. They do seem to update with new things often though - I would give it a go!
