The game is nice while it lasts. After that, it's borderline unplayable.
Everything you do in-game accumulates lag and it seems like developers nowadays are using chatgpt to create games, with zero knowledge of game optimization. Or they just don't give a sh*t about the Open World.

I've played for about 60 hours on a self-hosted dedicated server with 4 friends, and we've reached a point on the server where lag spikes and entity glitching is now the norm. Gun shots regularly do not register even at point-blank range, leading to stupid deaths when doing missions - not to mention mounts dying while doing said missions. Hosting the game on someone's game session is obviously worse.

Just to get an idea, the server is running on a ryzen 7900, with NOTHING in the background, with one core sitting at close to 100% while boosting for its life. It feels like the server is also crypto mining on the core besides serving the game clients.

At the current state the game is totally unplayable in multiplayer.
Player desync is a really common problem where as a host you are fine, but the other players either don't see storage furniture, don't see employee's assignments or don't see customer requests.
The bug report button doesn't do anything (it errors out when submitting a bug) and the developer could do a better job at communicating with the player base.

In single player the performance is laughable, 40-ish fps in an indie title with cartoon graphics should never be acceptable on an RTX 3060 1440p. I've seen a much better framerate in cyberpunk ray-traced.

Wait until the game is fully released and read the reviews after release, in my opinion you shouldn't waste your money on this in early access.
