If the gamepad gets disconnected during a playthrough, there is no way to continue playing, be it with the gamepad or the keyboard. That is how I have just lost a good run without getting a satisfactory ending (success or failure).

It is not extremely polished and seems to only work with a gamepad, but it is quite unique on PC. This reminds me of Kawashima on consoles.
