Ring of Pain is my favorite turn-based roguelike game. While everything is visually represented with cards it's not actually a deck builder. It's more of a dungeon crawler with an inventory system.

The best parts of the game to me are:
- 300+ items that have different synergies and allow for a high variability of play styles every run. Even with close to 100 hours there are a ton of combos I haven't gotten to try yet.
- 110 achievements that act as in-game challenges to unlock more items. The achievements are a great mix of difficulty and can almost all be completed on any difficulty you'd like.
- An active developer and Discord who love to talk about the game.
- Save and quit functionality was added in the last update as well!

I highly recommend Ring of Pain full price, and it's a no-brainer on sale.
