Episode 1 completed so far- I will update with future episodes.

The first episode of Game of Thrones: A Telltale Game Series has all the staples of both George R.R. Martin's (in)famous series as well as what we expect from Telltale's games. The tough choices carry extra weight in this installment. Almost every choice is difficult, and you're presented with several in the first episode alone. Along with introducing you to a new cast of characters, who aren't quite as compelling as established characters (yet), the game allows you to interact with some of the famous faces of Westeros.

Ultimately, I greatly enjoyed this episode. the graphics are unique, and not as bad as you'd expect looking at the screenshots. The voice acting is, for the most part, excellent (a few minor characters have inconsistent accents, but nothing horrible). The music mixes some new tracks with some Game of Thrones soundtrack staples, but it all works very well. The story is, of course, excellent. Compelling and with a few unexpected surprises. However, the only complaint I could come up with regarding the plot is the lack of exposition for those unaffiliated with Game of Thrones. While I think it is playable for non-fans, the experience would be diminished, and a lot of confusion would ensue. However, for those who DO watch the show/read the books, the experience is fantastic. There is a moment early in the first episode where you don't realize where you are for a few seconds until the camera pans and you realize: "Ooooooh....This is THAT part". Ultimately a great experience so far.
